But I do have questions. What type of paint do you normally use, and what kind of prep work needs to be done? Also, for the screen/mesh, what material could I use, and how would I attach it on?

Never painted one, myself. I think powder coat is the way to go for long life. Otherwise, the ol' sand and prime and sand and paint and sand and buff and sand and buff again.

what the crap happened to your prices? Just went up 20-30 bucks for every size it looks like
