How does that tc9 based sub perform?

This sub is a beast for its price. I have mine in 2.25@32hz and its almost as loud as my 2 Matrix Elites were.NO LIE. The Oz subs were sealed in 1.5cubes each powered by a jbl 1200.1. The same amp is pushing this sub. It hits as low as the Matrix's did,but doesnt have that chest "punch". Hope that makes sense. Maybe thats a difference with sealed vs. ported. This sub takes the power from the jbl amp with ease. Hope this kindof helps.

That helps quite a bit since it might be replacing my 15 elite. It is also in a ported box 4 cubes tuned to 35-36 hz. Still debating though.

I have a pair of those exact 12"s in DVC 4 Ohm. When I bought them I was told they were HCCA Prototypes. Same Alumapro Caps..Everything. I'm trying to trade them both for a DVC 2 Ohm 15" which will handle a BXi1606D @ 1 Ohm. Where did you get your 12"s? Pics of mine are in my gallery in a 3.0 ft3 tuned to 33 hz.
