F/S:Porsches for Parts or Project

Hey all,

Have to sell my Porsche 924S, and all parts and other stuff that goes with it. The Porsche 924S and the 944 are great hobbist cars, they run excellently for a long time if their intended maintenence cycles are kept up. Well, the PO lied to me and said he kept up with one thing and he didn't.

Included in the package deal are 2 cars, a 1987 924S, and a 1987 944. The '44 was wrecked, dealer maintained until it's demise. I threw close to 3k at my 924S aand then the waterpump failed. Both cars have good trannies (5spd) and salvageable engines, with many valueable parts. If someone wanted, they could piece together a running car out of the 924S, or part out the cars and make about $2000 and become a bit of a water cooled Porsche mechanic in the process.

I need to sell these to pay bills and make going to college easier without worrying about them all the time. THe price is set at a fair $1000, everything included (a JVC headunit and some Alpine 4x6 speakers too) I have put about 6 times that into these two cars and the parts they come with.

I just ran out of energy and time and money for this project, and my dad ran out of money and could'nt build the big shop so he and i could work on these cars...

Again, thanks for looking, it sucks to see a car you spent so much blood money on have to go like this but go it must.
