3. Description/Condition:

I have tested the amp and it works 100%..

this lanzar opti2000d has had the power supply rebuilt with 20 upgraded better/newer /higher amperage/more robust transistors. i replaced the generic no name brand power supply controler ic chip with a fairchild tl494 . replaced all 4 gate drive transistors, and all 20 gate resistors..(basically everything that needs to be replaced when a power supply goes poof)

now i couldnt leave well enough alone and went ahead and rebuilt/upgraded the output section...lol

i replaced all 14 output transistors with newer/more reliable parts. i rebuilt the audio driver card as well . i used toshiba transistors to replace the generic parts.

this amp is better now than when it came from the factory.... this is how they should have built them in the first place....

the last opti2000d that i sold last week was clamped to put out right at 1987 watts rms .5 ohms rising to .9 ohms.. the guy gained .3db's switching from a opti1800d......

the amp is more stable/efficient than a stock 2000d .. you will still need the electrical to feed this beast.... no stock electrical allowed...

the amp has some scratches and scuffs but looks great. its not beat to death..

10 out of 10 for function.....

this amp is being sold with no warranty implied or expressed. but it will not be dead on arrival. it has been tested and works 100%.....

so im going to let this one go for 195.00 shipped to the cont usa.... FIRM (even though mine will last longer and perform better)

the power supply has been modified with better transistors. i changed out the irfz44n's with irf3205's (i also modified the gate drive circuit). and refreshed the output section with newer parts. i rebuilt the audio driver card. swapped out the generic transistors out for toshiba ones...

I think you meant the a3000d. The larger caps on the board are placed slightly different between the opti and 3000d. Very similiar though.

i do to... actually. i hate all amps with vertical driver boards....

another good thing about this particular opti2000d is that it comes with the beefier audio driver board. the old/first version uses tiny transistors. the newer version uses bigger/more reliable transistors.
