i have a mmats dhc1400.1 that is in need of repair....it goes into protect when powered up...it doesn't have any bad funky smells , i took the bottom off and didnt see anything bad, but you really cant see the fets, they are mounted under the board......
its in really good condition, a few scuffs, but still has a good shine to the heatsink....it is missing the speaker plug , but you can buy one off ebay for cheap for around 10.00
you can send it back to mmats to be fixed , or im sure db-r could handle it , if he is not to swamped....should be a cheap fix
i just dont have the time or money to mess with it..these sell working for over 300 on ebay all the time
