Sold F/S:Memphis prd1000.1

yep, the pr1000d are 1 ohm stable, and rated to do 1000wrms at 1ohm

With anything less than 5v+ input these things will easily out slam a M-class amp.

ummm, no. while they are indeed very solid amps, and will do their power, they will not beat a mc1000d. and yeah, i sell and install memphis everyday. and the pr1000d is easily one of our biggest sellers, $475 for 1000wrms is hard to beat.

not meaning to post dump. i just don't want false info out there. this is a very good deal on a rock solid performer.

Will there be a dramtic change between the two amps??

mostly efficiency. the mclass are more efficient. the pr500d being about as efficient as the mc1000d, at least in real world application. also, the mc1000d will produce closer to 1200wrms while the pr1000d is right at it's suggested rating.

that's not to dog the pr1000d, it's well worth what the OP is asking. and the mc1000d is typically 80-100 bucks more then the pr.

again, this is a great deal on a rock solid amp.

What do you mean by this. I have the M Class 1000 and it will go on a headunit that puts out 4v.

We sell these for $500. These PR are SOLID amps. With anything less than 5v+ input these things will easily out slam a M-class amp.
Excellent amp for an excellent price.

ignore his statement. the mc1000d will easily work off a 4 volt unit. in all honesty, that post is retarded. i work for an authorized memphis dealer, have installed both units many time s over and have even owned both units. you will have zero issues with the mc1000d and yoru h/u
