are these discus amp good as ppl and reviews have been sayn????
i heard a dsc450 on some highs and it really didnt sound great.....
They do rated and for the money, it's hard to go wrong. They're not an SQ amp though, so you can't expect pure SQ from them. However, you still have to consider the build. I had a 2 channel discus and two mono 1500's and they sounded fine. It depends on what driver's they're pushing and the install itself. If the DSC you heard really displeased you, chances are the install was crap.

x2 because mine sounded good on my DD 6.5's...

ya i figured it was the install/choice of speakers and a lil user error that mad it sound kinda krappy.... LOL

would this be upgrade from a kicker kx200.4??? its pushn a comp set and 6x9s.... im happy with the way it sounds

Major upgrade if you ask me. You're getting 50x4 and the MBQ is doing 125x4. You're getting 1.5 times more power. That's like working on a holiday!

I'm using mine in an "SQ" install with an external processor for active capabilities, and I'm happy with the way it performs. I wouldn't change it for anything else unless it put out significantly more power and I was getting an awesome deal.
