I have a brand new in box RD Audio HeavyWeight 15" SQL Subwoofer custom built. This sub has been taken out for inspection and was going to be used in a prototype install. But the buyer just backed out on me... So its for sale. CHEAP compared to what I paid for it and even cheaper if you were to buy from RD.

(Dual 1.8 to be exact)

how would this compare to 2 05 xxx 15s both ported both on 40.1....In terms of lowbass,sq,and spl(i know you have heard both) pm a price on the 18 recone too

To the xxx guy: you won't gain anything....just a smaller system...but it will still be loud and sound good!

xmax doesn't really matter on a sub like this.. the fs is around 34 hz. I had one in a 4.5 cf box @ 32 hz...so yes they can go low!

I have owned one and I do agree that they take the most power of any sub I have ever owned but the bass that came from it was real peaky and high,,, It wouldnt really hit the lows like my 9512g or even the HDC3... It might of been the enclosure... What makes this better in your opinion then all the other subs you have owned... Thanks

There better than the DD's in my setups cause my setups are tuned low and high powered.

I had my dd9515 in a 4.5 box @ 32 hz, sold it, put the HW in and gained a little more output with the same power. Put the SS6500D on the HW and it WANGED.... you talkin... you could feel the pressure in the back of your throat loud!!.. And the DD 9515 just couldnt handle that power daily, you coulde here it just losing output..
