Sent Kevin 290$ for two SA12's by mistake when we agreed on 275$, he refunded my money and told me to send him 275$ instead. He was selling SA12's for a very nice price (275$) I just don't realize why sending him money as a gift was a problem at all. Oh well only a 35$ mistake...

sending it as a gift is the problem. im pretty sure you cant open a claim now if you have any problems with the transaction.

The second payment was sent as goods, so I'm almost positive I will be able to open a claim if need be. Which I most likely won't.. unless he sent me a 59 pound box of rocks haha.

Never send money by PayPal as a gift unless you can live without that money forever. You're not screwing over PayPal, you're screwing yourself.

Just call your bank, tell them you made a mistake and thought the money would be back and you wouldn't be overdrawn and ask if they can refund the OD fee. If its only happened once or twice and you haven't asked before they should do it. My wife does it 1-2x a year and I always call to have it reversed. Worst they can say is no....
