even the non hasidics can be extreme.. circumcision at 12 is pretty harsh.. other religions do it within 1 year of birth i think?

Circumcision is a very weird phenomenon.
I mean who was sitting around one day and thought "boy wouldn't it be cool to cut the tip of my dick off?!" and even more strange is that it caught on and other people thought "yeah that IS a REALLY good idea, I'm cutting mine off too!!"....

i mean wtf?!

It's done for health and hygeine purposes.

Your response right there shows how little you know about the religion. Normally circumcision is done 8 days after birth.

This would be a special case. I don't see what the big issue is, all they said was that the mother objected.. they never did actually say how the kid feels.
