so i just got my windows tinted today. when they were done, i did a quick walk around to make sure everything looked good, and it did, so i payed for it and left. 20 min down the road im lookin in my rear view and notice that one of the defroster lines looks weird. so i stop at a gas station to check it out. it turns out that they actually ripped off a part of the metal thread that heats up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

so im gonna go back tomorrow and see what they can do about it. i have never heard of this happening before...

so im stuck with it... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

I had my truck tinted a while back and when they cut the tint to the size of my windows they cut up the rubber gaskets around my roll-downs and scored a line in all of my rears. took them a while to own up to it but I got $1900 in replacement windows and the tint was redone...

im def not gonna back down. it's so obvious from the outside //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif the bad thing is that im only 17 and i dont think ill be too convincing. ill probably have to have my dad come too

was that sarcasm? what glue?
No, it was not sarcasm. It's not a true "glue", but the tint, and stuff they use creates a glue like substace. Pull tint off, and you will see that the window is sticky. You have to remove that before you re-tint a window or glass.

so your saying it was their fault, right???

What hes talking about is if you had your windows tinted already, then when they took the old tint off to retint them they would have to get the old 'glue' off the windows to properlt tint the windows. If your windows were not tinted then you shouldnt have had anybody scrapping your windows since there was no glue on them.
