F*ck firefox.

I love firefox, had no problems with it, but Google Chrome does require a lot less memory, and it's really all you need for a browser IMO. I don't use half of the stuff I could in FireFox.

I changed the settings on FF, but it's still hogging resources like crazy. Like, my CPU is running close to 90% most of the time.
That's just crazy. It's only doing this when FF is running though? I've never seen FF do that and I've ran it on all my boxes for 4+ years

With FF alone on:

LMAO with 3 windows of MSN, 2 yahoo IM windows, AIM running, and 3 Windows of firefox my computers usage was about 15% - My toshiba is the shit

HAve you changed the flex turbo core drive in yours to run a stable super core correct drive because that will free up your death bits to run after those hogging sites. Or check the proportinal drive reload and make sure its running right. lol

I had the same problem with FF on my old machine. Its just too bloated. Youtube videos as well as quicktime videos stopped working. Don't even think about running it along with itunes. Lockup city. I've since switched to Opera and haven't looked back. Google Chrome is also on my machine, but until it gets out of beta stages, I won't use it.
