extreme dynamat vs raamat

which is why you're biased and your opinion is not to be considered.
um.. Actually that would not be biased. Biased would be if he worked for me, or was related to me, or had some sort of inside connection to Second Skin.

Rather than biased, his opinion should be considered informed or educated. Once he installs his material, his opinion crosses over in to the areas of experienced. If he has used the other products listed above, his opinion then can be considered qualified or even knowledgeable and competent.

As long as there is no connection between him and the company, his biases stay out of question.

He went with what he felt was the best for his project, goals and budget which might not be the same for everyone.

Biased however is the wrong word for this context.

Then would you consider his opinion experienced and balanced? Knowing that he's only used one of the products mentioned and has nothing to compare to besides the car in its undeadend state.

Can you honestly say that the only way you can have a bias is with a corporate connection of some kind? If that was true we wouldn't have forum boners. I'm not saying your product isn't better or is infact any worse. Personally if i would've known about Second Skin before i made my purchase i probably would've gone that route.

You honestly think someone can only have a biased opinion if they are intimately connected with the company?

Oh, wait...that's probably because he was hyping your product in a thread related to deadening products and you could potentially get a sale from qualifying the comments as educated and informed rather than biased //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

As to the original question; Dynamat Extreme is the better product of the two.

I personally choose to use Raammat based on the price to performance.

But basing your decision solely on performance....Dynamat Extreme is up there as one of the best on the market.

^

i second what squeak said and many others will chime in...

raammat bxt is by far (IMO) a great deal for the $$$... im not sure how much better Extreme is compared to bxt.. but for the money when i was comparing them i think it came out to like 2.5 or 2.75x more expensive to yield same quantitys of raammat for the $$$ that i needed

in my opinion that is 2.5 - 2.75 more layers of effectiveness to cover my car with....

I couldnt be happier with raammat. all ive done is doors.. floor. and trunk lid... and i easily reduced 40% of my road noise.... bigger boost in midbass and stopped the annoying trunk ratttle.

I will be a lifetime customer as long as the budget to performance goals that rick (owner of raamaudio ) continues to keep in mind as a priority...

well i was going to use raamat for my doors but now after reading everyone i will use dynamat extreme for doors and raamat bxt for my trunk space and maybe floors i mean i have 65ft of bxt so i should be able to cover up my trunks nice and tight.

The guy used one product, he liked it. IMO biased is a word that does tend to imply more than simply a lack of experience with other products, but in the end we all understand he's only used the SS mat, and you guys are arguing symantics.

Ant is probably only responding to this thread because its related to one of HIS products. Anthony IS biased, Im sure even he wouldn't argue that. No secret there, he owns the company, and everyone knows it. Im not sure why pointing that out would make his motives or comments look sinister. Frankly squeak, Im surprised at your attitude here. Anthony has never been one to overly hype his product imo, Ive even seen him recommend other brands before (like raamat). I think you are reading more into his replies here than was really meant.
