extracting bass from a reciever with no sub output

hi i just need to know how to cheaply extract bass from an rca lead from a reciever that are NOT from a subwoofer output but instead from the rear output? i just want to hook up an amp and have it bump without playing the vocals too. if anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it!!
