extra steps to prevent theft

I think i have a solution to the theft that happens at night when you are sleepin at your own house. I have a 2 year old doberman pinscher that is a full grown male and weighs in around 125 pounds. Good dog but can scare the piss out of you when he gets mad. My idea is to stick him in my car at night when im sleeping so if someone was to try to break in my car and steal my shit they would open the car to a doberman getting ready to rip his f@#%in head off. My alarm would be the least of the guys problems.

It is a good idea but legally it is a bad idea, if the dog attacks the theif he can sue your *** for everything your worth... Reguardless of what he's attempting to do; also what if the dog shits in your car?!?! what then?

What you should do?

Wire your alarm system to your 2000 watt JL sub and then blast some super heavy bass, or put a picture of rosie o donnel on top of the sub, no one in the right mind would touch that shit.

Piezo sirens are supposed to create major pain by using high freq tones. I am putting one in my car next week. But many cities, like mine, have ordinances about car alarms that are too loud, and you could possibly get your stuff jacked, AND your car towed.

Oh Yea!! If you have an alarm add maybe an extra siren/horn in the trunk so when they are trying to work in the trunk a siren will be wailing his ears and making him deaf in the process!
Ever see the alarm system with the flames out the side?

to whoever had the dog: just put him on a leash near ur car and legally if he's on ur property and ur car is too it's trespassing and the theif gets screwed.

Yes here in VA if some one enters my property uninvited It is his loss if he ends up dead, and frozenfire89 as of this date Audi is the only people to have a completly sealed car, this would be thier 8 series. They have 12 fans located throughout the vehicle and change it out every 4 mins. So if your car is completly sealed great for you. I jusy threw the point about the dog out there cuse it does happen, A friend of mine left his rotti in his sentra and his 9mm on a tripod on his balcany. When heard the dog bark he ran to see the kids come up, he then put a red dot on one of the kids chest!! Also my girl is a VET and she said they would have no problem sitting in a car overnight.

ALthough Im not all that worried about some one messing with my sh*t, I just had the Viper791xv installed with a dual zone proximity and digital tilt sensors along with 4 mini piezos and a 3 tone 100psi Air horn, You can hear it about 1 mile away right now!! A fastran bus drove by last night and I got woken up!!

well i wasn't actually suggesting using a paintball gun as a form of protection, although if you take the hopper off and it's dark i bet you could get somebody to think it's a real gun. and, just for reference, a paintball is .68 caliber. also, i think the only way you could really dodge a paintball is if you're far away. i've been able to "dodge" paintballs from about 50ft away, but it's really hard and you have to have like awesome reflexs. one time we were playing and i stepped out from behind a tree to shoot, my friend was obviously shooting at me, i saw one coming right for my head, my first instinct was to duck, and it barely nicked the top of my mask, but it still couted considering my hair was now pink. but yeah, paintballs are regulated on fields to 300ft/sec.

i took a law class not to long ago and my professor has been a lawyer for a couple hundred years so i listened

he said that you are only covered if the thief breaks into your house. so if the dog ripped him to shreds in the house thats covered. but as far as outside your house, you would get in to some serious s***. the guy would sue your a** and probably win depending on the extent of injuries, ofcourse different state have slightly different statues, im talking about the midwest mainly illinois

Ya know, thieves are one thing. Vandalism pisses me off twice as much. I would hate to have my stuff stolen but I would rather some low-life just steal my stuff and be done with it than have them just destroy my car. Buckshot in their *** for the first one.
