External Port

Hey guys, trying to draw up a box plan for my Nissan Titan. Its a King Cab and Im trying to fit 1 10" Diamond Audio D6 in there tuned to 32 hrtz. Each side of the box gets .687 Cubic feet gross.

Here is what I have drawn up.

My question is; will the middle part act as a port or will it flow the air just find and I dont have to worry about it? Inside Demensions of the middle connector piece is 5 inches tall X 15 inches wide X 10 inches deep.

Im trying to maximize as much air space as possible, but the Titan's floor is oddly shapped. I wish I had the money for a JL Stealthbox, but I dont.

The middle will not act as a port. mostly because its feeding back into a large enclosure before exhausting out...... Good Luck. Looks good so far.
