external harddrive movie question

I also plan on just setting the media pc up with team viewer and remotely connect via the laptop when i want to play something so i dont have to have the keyboard and mouse hooked up. Just do everything remotely then close out.

I've tried that with a different service (called logmein) but because my desktop is just extended to the TV (instead of cloned) it never allowed me to move anything over to the TV, I could only control the computer's portion of my desktop.

i understand this, but if youre too lazy to unhook a usb drive and connect it to a computer before you download a movie, please, get a life and some exercise.

That's like saying if your too lazy to get up and change the channel by pressing the buttons on the TV you should get a life and some exercise but I'd bet every penny I have you use the remote. It's not about being lazy, it's about convenience. Not having to waste time transferring files means I have more time to pork your mother as well.
