External computer drives?

I'm in the market for an external DVD burner and HDD. I have a DVD burner on my laptop, but it doesn't like to burn DVD's anymore, it'll burn CD's, but not DVD's, and it doesn't like to read any DVDs either. So, I'm looking for a GOOD and Afordable DVD burner (external) that is USB 2.0. I am also looking for an external HDD for my laptop. Some where arund 250-30GB, but the cheapest I can get that is also USB 2.0. Any one have an external drive that they would recommend. Also, I am not looking to buy any that are used, so do not post any that you are selling. Thanks, 95Black.

good *** deal with rebate...

and I have used tons of different external drives, and honestly I haven't noticed Fantom drives to be that much worse than any other brand
