Extended cab or Super cab - which is better for CA?

If both the Ext. Cab and Supercrew both have 60/40 bench backseats then I would think they would both be equally the same to install a system into. The Supercrew only having more foot room.

If the Supercrew has two bucket seats in the back then I would build a custom center console between the two backseats. Just my $0.02.

You also lose alot of sound pressure through the trunk lid flexing in a trunk car.
It all depends on design. Trunks dont generally rattle a whole hell of a lot when you let the pressure vent into the cabbin, IE seats folded down. With enough positionsp laying sedans arent that bad. They are typically about the same or slightly better than a truck.

I played around at the dealer today and for the both Ford F-150s the backseats seem to be exactly the same. That is they are bolted in 60/40 bench seats that fold up.

Checked the specs the SuperCrew seems to have 6 inches greater leg room in the rear.

There is next to no room under the back seats.

So if I go this route I would most likely pull the back seat out completely.

i've had both.
I've installed in both...many many times. Ive done the same box in both/speakers/ power. My GF has a sedan, I have an extended cab. I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who have both or have installed in both on CA or any forum. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

i would do extended cab JUST because it would be harder to get into and out of for thieves taking stuff
If you dont care about a back seat and arent doing a wall I would go with just extended cab because thre is less panel area to loose SPL. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

like i said, if you dont want to remove the rear seat (which is gay) or cut out the rear wall, then the ext cab is much easier to make some noise in.
