I dont qualify for Street A

I think I am Street C

It seems it also depends on what any particular person's definition of loud is. 153 in street A is most definitely loud. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
On a national level you have to be 150+ to be even remotely competative in street A. I've seen 150+ in street A in 1x competitions. Street A is by far the hardest class to compeat in.

Dude, just get an F350 with the Turbo Desiel. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I love big trucks.

I think its really easy to get loud in an ext cab truck.

Take my truck for example. Even tho I am tuned pretty low I am still doing some impressive numbers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/imo.gif.3a57bcc70a4835dc53e86ffae1a0b041.gif

Im not using top of the line equipment either.

Slap a couple L7 15s in my truck. With about 2000 rms of clean power and I could do really good.

Thanks for the comments so far.

As the orig poster - let me clarify and get a little more specific.

I am not intending to compete, even at a local level, in SPL competition. Maybe one day but for now this is just going to be for my personal listening enjoyment. This will be my daily driver.

In either truck (super vs extended) is it any easier to remove the seats and then have the ability to put them back in? The super crew still leaves a lot of room with the seats folded up and still in the car. I may go that route.

Jump seats are reletively easy to remove, King/Super/what ever cab's generally have enough room UNDER the back seat for a decent ammount of bass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Slap the same drivers with similar tuning in a smaller SUV or Hatch and you are likely to be over 150dB Most trunked sedans will be about the same, louder if you fold the rear seat down.
I always thought trunk cars, even with the seat folded down, were typically the least efficient of the possible car shapes.

Can anyone else comment on this?

Jump seats are the ones in extended cab trucks? The seats in a super crew look like regular bench seats.
