Well, I am somewhat in the market for a new vehicle. I like my s-10, but I kind of want something new in the 12-15,000 range. I would like to get a full size truck but no extended cab will fit in the garage. I looked into the Colorado, but I don't really like the inside all that much.

Curious...does anyone own one? Is it car audio friendly? Can you fit a pair of subs under the rear seat....

I driven my dad's more than a few times. Nice truck, drives like a car, the power rear windshield is nice, the v6 has good getup, very decent stock system. Downside is awkward rear seat brackets + floor... makes it very difficult for subs + walls IIRC, huge blind spots, and awkward front viewing. Hard to describe until you drive one. Overall a good truck, had I not gotten a 4 banger it would have been my choice.

Besides the difficulty with audios, I am not seeing a huge issue.

Keeping the s10 an getting an SUV like a trailblazer an option? LMK if so and maybe I can persuade you.

I love my Trailblazer...highly recommend, and nice ride with lots of space.

Maybe...I'd rather not keep the S-10 as I don't want to insure three cars.

very comfortable vehicle to drive. Drove my friends moms on an 8 hr road trip. It would take a custom box, maybe fiberglass conformed to the floor but a decent system should be possible. def a great sq system is possible

I had one that I put 2 10 w6 ae in under the seat. I built the box out of mdf and just had the seat sit on the box and it worked fine. I loved that truck and miss it alot, I would of kept it if gas wasn't so expensive.

Cool.

I am undecided...I like the 2007 version because I fear the v6 will underpower such a heavy truck...the 07 has a V8...but it ~$10k more.

I like the new ones alot, the one I had was a 04 but my friends mom has an 07 which is pretty nice and I belive the back seat is the same way as the 04. With that truck you wind up getting the best of both worlds between a SUV and truck.

That is what I am thinking...how did you feel about the power of the 04? With the AC on and merging on the interstate at 70...

The one I drove on the 8 hr trip was an 03 with the v6 and I had the ac running and power wasnt an issue on the interstate. I was running between 70-80mph the whole way and gas mileage was great. Got like mid 20s. A friend of mine has an 04 on 22s and they dont seem to bother the truck at all with power.

Well I never really used the AC but I felt it had pretty good get up in it, I had the 4 wheel drive one.
