Sub sonic filters out frequencies below 25 Hz i think. High level input is for receiving audio signal from speaker outputs in stead of low level RCAs. RCA output is the same signal the amp receives from the head unit being put back out to connect another sub amplifier.

the high level input is like, if you run your amp off of the speaker wire coming from your head unit, instead of the RCAs. I don't think too many people do it anymore though.

oh.. because i noticed almost every amp iive had has one for it.. and i had no clue what its for..

oh and if i was runnin 5 gage wire to that amp would my truck immediately burst into flames?

your truck wont but your wire may. dont use scosche wire. get quality wire. http://www.knukonceptz.com for all your wiring needs. i will always use a minimum of 4 guage wire, but i will always run 1/0 from my battery back, and then reducers if my amp wont accept it

haha no it wouldn't burst into flames but that would be the bare minimum of wire size for that amp i would say. As long as the in line fuse equals or exceeds the onboard fusing you should be ok.
