im not even running type R's, but have done several installs with them and they are awsome,

the 12" i did, i had a guy tell me it has more SQL than his 12w7?

dude they can do it, but if you really wanna do it do a type X

cause they will take a bit more abuse, with a couple m1005's on it, dayum

but the type R is one hell of a sub for sure

but 99% of your results is going to come down to the box you put it in

It's a sub. It's cheap. It maintains decent sq at moderate/loud volumes. It hits well when tuned for SPL. Hence why people like them. Don't worry Lemans, there will be another bandwagon soon I'm sure than you can wonder why everyone's jumping on.

Hell, I'll be the first one to start it.

Lemans enclosure designs are AWESOME!!

or even a concept bandwagon, i had a PT 12" rated at 1,000w with a mtx 1501d, (1,500w RMS test at like 1836rms at 2 ohm, and i had it wired into 1 ohm! with its 2 2 ohm coils, it was so loud at a 36 hz tuning and you could not blow the mutha****a, i never oince smelled the VC, you could crank it up so loud people would litterally jump out of the car (while stopped) and that was at an SQL tuning , it was out hitting my friends explorer with 2 concept pt 15"s in it, and he was pulling 152.2's at the db drags, even he would tell you it was louder, str8 rediculus

but now they dont make them anymore, and the only reason i dont have mine is cause it got JACKED a couple years ago, i did find the box though
