LeMans...link my ***, I saw with my own 2 eyes this kid hit 154.2 (He has a link with a picture of the frickin reward he got on this forum somewhere, might be tommyK's) with only 2 12" Type R's....that is why it is being talked about so much....ANYTHING else? Plus for a mid-entry level subwoofer, for like 160 bucks online, what else can you get like that sub?

yea it's a great price/performance woofer, but the number of threads being made about them is getting annoying. people need to learn to search for themselves.

and i did the 1 of the 15s. those are my buds. Rs are loud man. they are the best woofs u can get rite now for the price and wha u get for them. i mean honestly, no sub in that price range compares and it even beat out subs that are2x its price. this has 2 be my fav sub. i neva thought they were as good as they are. but my bud spkrman kept buggin me 2 get em and i regret even gettin an SX ova this sub. maybe the install u heard were nuthin but if u wanna hear some real type r powa, come 2 IL. we will also be at IN state final for MECA runnin the type r's. gonna sweep IL and comin ova 2 ya state lemans and take that 2 hahahahah //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well another reason why there are more threads about it, is that it is a newely designed sub, with many improvments to it. It sounds different from last year model.

Coming from me who previously owned an IDMAX, the new Type R's are a real big improvement over last year's model. Hell it sounds just as good as my IDMAX but louder. I can now play at volumes with the Type R that would've stress the hell out of my IDMAX. BUt then again, my IDMAX was in a sealed box during the time I owned it, would've surely made a difference in a different enclosure.
