explain this to me please

why is everyone bandwagoning the type-r? what is this huge influx of devotees to this subwoofer? am i missing out on something? seriously explain why this sub is so great because from what i've seen and heard it is inefficient like a 500lb man cutting ur grass with scissors and it just sounds ok. nothing special from my view...what is so great?

I wasnt impressed with the Type R's ive heard. But then again thats not really saying much as i've only heard them at Best Buy.

Ha, in terms of value the type-r is sort of a god... 18mm xmax and a decent mix of sql for really really **** cheap.

LeMans...link my ***, I saw with my own 2 eyes this kid hit 154.2 (He has a link with a picture of the frickin reward he got on this forum somewhere, might be tommyK's) with only 2 12" Type R's....that is why it is being talked about so much....ANYTHING else? Plus for a mid-entry level subwoofer, for like 160 bucks online, what else can you get like that sub?
