explain equalizers....please

ok i was just curiuos and if i knew how i would word it to search for it i would...but i cant (im pretty blazed rite now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif ) so yea i was wonderin ok u know on equlizers how they say (60-170-310-1K-3K-6K-12K-16K) well wat does each one actually control? cuz i know the more left switches control the bass and the right side ones control the treble ..i think so yea does anyone know. thanks

Each band controls the volume of that frequency range... the 60 band controls the 60Hz band, and so on.

well rite now im messin with the eq on winamp so i can learn about it a bit ...but ok if each one controls the Hz then wats the range for lows,mids,highs?

btw--azbass...are u runnin the stock monsoon system or componets ? if so which?
