ight guys i need your opinions once again on the useful forum. Im gettin an expedition and im in the sql range focusing on 3 12" (sounds loud in my friend explorer) or should i go with the most mentioned 1 15"XXX/D2? all i can say is a lot of cubes i can use with about 2-3K watts?

Three ported 12's would absolutely pound! I've spent a lot of time inside an Explorer with four vented Mag 12's and it, in turn, gave me hearing damage in my left ear...which I'm not too happy about. The vehicle did 151's on a bad day without any electrical upgrades other than just running power wire. SUV's and hatchbacks are great vehicles for SPL.

I, personally, would be happy with a single 15 sealed, but three vented 12's would slam.

my friend has 3 12" pioneer's IMPP for the price of 125 with the 3 angled box, is it worth it or just go with 1 15"
