I was looking into getting a 200A alt for my 2004 Durango from them and i just wanted to hear some opinions about their alts. Are they any good/reliable? Do they do rated amperage? If they are not good alts somebody point in the right direction to get a good alt for my truck. So can someone tell me if they are a good company to buy from or will i end up getting screwed.

alot of people have been having problems with them lately ask iceteebone or ls1pimp i know the two of them for sure i have had recent problems with not only the alts but the customer service as well

If you order one brfore midnight you can get an Iraggi alt for 30% off in the group buy

just installed me 250 amp EA alt about 10 minutes ago. it seems to work but i've only ran it about 20 minutes.

i also have to mention this is the third alt from excessive because the 2 before were junk. originally ordered it in august, it's now febuary and i finally have a working alt. (it seems to work as i have only tested it for 20 minutes with no amps hooked up) is excessive reliable? imo no. is nathan a friendly guy to talk to on the phone? sure. does he hold his promises? no not to me atleast. would i buy from excessive again? no. where would i buy another HO alt? http://www.mean-green.com

well my EA alt seems to be acting goofy on me. the voltage is all over the place between 13 and 14.4 and it makes a little howling noise. i'm afraid to drive my car now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

yeah i love my 275 amp its been runnin strong the whole time ive had it..

YOu'll have to pull the alt down and find the source of the noise. It could also be fan related, but the bearings are the most common for the howling noises, or excessive rotor speed.

Maybe, maybe not. Only time can tell. I've seen some bearing failures result in little to no damage, and some where the actual needles have been welded to the shaft.
