Excellent compnents under 150$$: POSSIBLE??

Looking for 6.5" components for $150 or under, is it possible to find excellent ones in this price range?

And is there any advantage to mixing coaxials into the mix (like 5.25" in some kick panels) or just avoid coax all together and do all comps?

Oh and so far im going with ARC cuz ive had good experiences in the past with there coaxs (any feedback on Arc is welcomed too)

i just picked up some mpyre 65m 6.5s with cross overs for 100 bucks shipped, from everything that i have heard about them they are among the best of the best, and a set of 50$ tweets would put you right about where you want to spend, that said, my buddy has some arc tweets in his setup and they flat out scream, not sue which exact ones.

Eclipse SC6500's are great or you can go with a 3 way and get the Eclipse SC8365s which are a mid, tweeter, and mid range which also will sound fantastic.

Those tweeters look alot like the MBQ PTK 40 wide spheres.

Eclipse SC6500's are great or you can go with a 3 way and get the Eclipse SC8365s which are a mid, tweeter, and mid range which also will sound fantastic.

I run the 8365's and the midbass is stupid

I love my SC6500's. A properly deadened door with non hardening wax based clay for adding mass and sealing holes. Wow. Awesomeness for sure.

just ordered some lanzar opti 6.5 components for about $85, they look very nice and i know the opti line is great, will be running active on them. I sold a pair of ARC coaxial 6.5s on here a while ago, ARC=VERY GOOD COMPANY, you wont be disapointed.

which ones did you order? they have some that are super nice similar to the older cadence CVL's i think they are a lil more then $85 last time I checked
