how do i do this, should i fire it at the seats or at the roof, where should the port be?

well i have mine fiberglassed into the drivers side extended cab seat...i have one of those jump seats from a ford ranger. i took it out, and glassed into the well back there. i have my woofer facing my driver seat. and since bass waves are non-directional it wont matter what you point it

technically....it DOES matter where u put it (if ur goin for spl) because sound waves rebound and all that. ie: face closer to hatch, more air rebounds causing higher SPL in some cases.

welllllll....haha...im an sq guy, so i dont roll with the SPL stuff....but since you know what you want out of it, how about you try it out....haha

If you're able to build a box that you can turn, then try different ways and see which you like best.

As far as port placement, as a general rule you should put it on the same side as the sub.

you really should build a box that puts the sub right next to your head, same with the port...no need for AC......
