Everyone talks about 1/0awg wire

yea, its called a fused distro block for your power wire, and a ground distro for your ground wires. You mount one on a board fairly close to your amp, within 3' and have most likely have 4 guage wire coming out of the distro block into your amps terminals.

Just use an adapter...

In case you are wondering why. . . .It is all about voltage drop. Wire has a resistance, when current flows through a resistance, voltage drops across the resistance. Larger wire = lower resitance (all other parameters being equal).

This guy is THE man when it comes to getting great wire at cheap price with free shipping.

Most people get it from weldingsupply.com but they sell import wire and its like 25% more expensive than Chris.

Check it out. You won't regret it. I got mine Monday and I am trippin over it.
Jesus...I need to pick up a spool of that shit! Nice link!

Personally I would be trimming down 1/0... if your amp was made for 4 gauge, I'm sure you could trim the 1/0 slowly and get more wire then just 4 gauge into it.

Or 1/0 runs to a battery. Running 4 gauge from a battery a few feet from your amp won't be much of a problem as far as resistance is concerned //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
