Ahhhhhhhhhh the blue screen of death. My laptop got it last week. I almost cried.

mine did it 3 weeks ago, called up dell and they sent me a new HD overnight...

You're welcome. Since discovering that Alt + S provided that function I don't think I've actually used the mouse to point and click the "Post Quick Reply" even once.

I could be mistaken but I'm not thinking I am....

Alt + S is faster. More convenient as well in my estimation.

sigh.... it's funny how people get a BSOD and they think the life of their PC is over....

I format once a week anyways....

that's why I have three harddrives,

two 10,000RPM WD Raptor's for windows and games, and the 250GB storage drive for the .ISO backups of my games, .ISO's of my operating systems, music, and everything else including all driver installs, a complete format+reinstall takes less then an hour to be back in full operation.....

I really should get around to making an image of my harddrive so it only takes about 20 minutes to format...

i format about once every 6 months. i have everything important that i want/need backedup on on a disk.
