Ever since they did away with the ability to make a custom list your default news feed, I've been keeping my friends list trimmed. I don't want to log on and see status updates from a billion people I don't give two shits about.

Mine seems to hide the people I actually talk to and show the people I could care less about.

Mine seems to hide the people I actually talk to and show the people I could care less about.

With the old setup I created a friends list of just my 20(ish) closest friends, and made that my default news feed. It was great, I would log on and only see the shit I care about reading. If I wanted to read about everyone else's mundane life, all I had to do was click on a different feed, but that smaller list was still my default. Now it's like I log on and have a bajillion new updates and it's impossible to read anything that I care about...
