Do you ever think that you could just be walking in the woods and find like a opening to a cave or mine shaft or a old tunnel no one has been in for like 100 years?

My neighbor and I were just talking about Pittsburgh(where i now live) and he was telling me how bunch of the old buildings he worked on had like tunnels and hidden rooms and shit. So i was starting to do some research because i wanna go explore some of these things,anyone point me in the right direction?

Kinda like National Treasure type shit.

I have thought about that before as much time as I spend in the woods.

I have found a "cave" before out in the middle of nowhere, but really didn't have the balls to go in it. If i had someone with me, I probably would have "explored" it.

i wouldnt do it, i had to do some mine training to go work at a mine for my job, and there are alot of hazards!! stagnant piosnous gases that can kill you in seconds, unstable shafts, 100 ft drop offs ect. ect.
