ever get pulled over for racing?

My Mountaineer goes 200 mph and I whoop everyones *** around here.. Easily win a grand a night with the newcomers... So I can keep putting money into it, so it gets faster an faster...

I've been "caught" around 10 times over the years........about 3 years ago, in my stang. then it only had 840rwhp supercharged smallblock. some punk and his friend pulled next to me in a camar-slo and wanted to go......as soon as the light turned green i was gone, and by the time I got to the next light...about 1/4 mile away, i could barely see him, and the cop behind him........mustve been 500 behild me..easy. I just pulled over and waited, since I was sure he called ahead......he got out, read my license plate, "UL LOSE2" and callled the police chief...by the time i got my tidket, there were 5 cops. I gave them my sob story that I have my cdl, I made a mistake, wont happen again, and he let me take it to court, and threw out everything, and turned it into a minor traffic violation..like running a stop light....rather than automatic 1 year suspension!!!!! I got lucky!!!

Last year in my bike....getting dark, just got new turbo on the busa. Got on the highway, and opened it up.....within seconds, I was over 150mph, and look right to see a cop sitting in the grass off the road........."****", and cracked the throttle more.......I immediately see his lights come on, but a second or 2 later.........he turns them off!!!!!! I was going over 170 at the time.........I guess he was like, "**** that"! I wouldnt have stopped anyway...I've ran and gotten away from cops b4 on my bike....easy to do. That was cool that he didnt wanna even bother to try:up2somet:

Plilly, on front street...where the big boys race for big $$$$$. Had a race lined up, after destroying 3 cars already, I'm gonna race a built GN. We line up, and as soon as we take off, the cops block both ends of the srteet.....thousands of people are trapped!!!!! Meanwhile,while I launched, and snapped my axle right off, and was trapped, so they knew I was racing and not just an onlooker.

Luckily I BS'ed my way out of it, saying it was my 1st time, and was let off w/ a $93 "parking" ticket. Didnt matter,b/c I made $650 in the 1st 3 races.This was prolly 10 years ago......

i wish i knew some cops. i dont think my dad being the deputy sheriff back then would help.

i had just got the nawz hooked up and was on some back roads going to an x-g/f's house...cop wasnt happy with me, but ultimately let me off.

Everyone should learn from mistakes, except for the 350z that thinks he can out run any LT1 or LS1,LS2. 350 Z drivers are extra gay and think they drive really fast cars, but they just pay a lot for mediocrity.

I had a pretty close call once.

I was on the highway around 1am with a friend. A Ford focus sedan blows past us so we want to see if we can catch him. I floor my 89 montero up to about 100(I should have known better than to speed on a busy highway at night, impossible to pick out cops in rear-view) and we start to catch him but cars kept getting in my way so we backed off a little. We're doing like 85-90 and I look in my mirror and there's a cop pacing me right in my blind spot. I let off the gas and moved to the right one lane, cop moves over with me(figure I'm fu(ked now). He then pulls along side, points his spot light at my car, flashes it a few times in my drivers window then takes off.

Talk about a get out of jail free card.

never caught racing, but i once got a warning for getting sideways in my ***** am. i was USUALLY pretty careful on the street though, i only opened it on the interstate a few times.

jonnybusa...you ever read the old Cars Illustrated mag? Used to feature Front st a lot as one of the main writers was from Philly. That mag is the reason I bought my GN.

Back on topic. I've had probably 250+ street races and never been busted. REAL street racing is not dicking around on the highway. It's done in the wee hours of the morning on secluded roads/industrial parks, etc... Once the several hours of negotiations are done, you head out to the spot and a good race is done and over with in under 5 minutes and has minimum spectators.

Street racing scene is pretty much dried up around my area other than POS imports who don't have a clue...

^ x2 My 350z would and did kill Lt1s and most stock LS1s, never raced any Ls2s with it, but my Ls1 firehawk would beat it, but if it was just a plain TA with a LS1 or z28 the 350z beats them, now my 300zx twin turbo i had was a different story that was 489rwhp that smoked almost anything i pulled up next to, but that 2005 vette that had nitrous, dont want to talk about it!

O and to answer the thread, yes twice 95 in a 55 wrong lane street racing with my 2001 s-10 extreme, and then in town 97 in a 35 with my supercharged 03 mustang gt 5spd, the little mitsu eclipse turbo thought he was fast, i showed him how fast to get a **** ticket, but i still beat him!!!!!

And my buddy was racing a 2007 yamaha R6 threw town, he was driving my pontiac firehawk, got pulled over doing 110 in a 25 school zone, that was not a good night, but we tied with the bike!
