Even worth reconing?

Well, my grandma moved into a new house, and I found some old Rockford subs. There were two RFP2415s, 200RMS ea. I found some recone kits for them for $44. Are they even worth reconing, or would I have better luck just selling the baskets and motors? Or, could I recone them and sell them for a good bit of cash?

Hmm, maybe I'll go ahead and recone them after I get my Type-Rs and put them in a bandpass box, idk.

Well, the way I figure it is:

I got them for free, so I may as well go ahead and recone them so I can get the experience, and my mom or dad could use them because they don't need a ground pounder system in their vehicle.

i would recone em an maybe just keep em in storage unless somebody offers good money for em. but then jst keep them as back ups

Worth reconing, but not worth reselling. You'll never get your money back.
