How does it help prevent scamming? Thats what the feedback section is for. I know goob wouldnt think this rep feature would be good for anything other than entertainment.

I think the system should put your name in the rep FOR YOU that way you know who has repped you.

There is a way to do that..... just to let you know.

I was not looking at it as a ref system for myself but I mean if I wanted to sell something to someone new on this site my refs are in my sig but then they check the rep system thing and its all red there gona be like wtf is he full of sht etc.

I'd also like to add that scammers generally dont stick around to make additional sales, they get an ignorant buyer to scam and leave. As for simply bad business pratices, thats EXACTLY what buyer/seller feedback is for. To judge a buyer/seller based on this rep system where you dont know if that green dot is for a witty comment somewhere, or that red dot is from somebody messing around, is plain stupidity.

I'd disagree, as a competant person/ buyer, I would never judge your selling practices on a red dot that I have no idea what it is based on. I would search your name through the feedback forum, aswell as looking for references in your sig and checking it out with them.
