i highly doubt if you swapped it in the same enclosure you would get that much output increase. the wattage to the stock speaker is prolly quite small, and the enclosure, im sure, is not optimal for the eu.

if you built a new box to spec of the power\space. then you could see some improvement.

but i thought the eu's are able to perform well in small enclosures.

but that enclosure was designed for the other speaker.

is it a sealed enclosure? they perform best in ported enclosures - from what my friend had 35~40hz. with a 2" port. but, rooms are quite large, i dont know. you can try, but i recommend building anew enclosure.
