could sombody point me in the right direction??? i just installed a h/u in my wifes 03 escape and im trying to retain the factory sub set-up. i thought to wire it in line ,but that would only leave me with a full range sub. i was going to upgrade w/ an amp and sub, but now she dosnt want to give up the space or see any external mounting/wiring. so.... you can see my options are limited. has anybody elase made this work????? if this is a repost, sorry. a link to thread would be helpful also

You could try to hide the amp in the trunk behind the outer wheel well, that would hide the amp and most of the wiring, as for the sub, elemental designs makes a great shallow sub that if virtually undetectable. this would allow you to keep all your space
