Hi if I have a 13 band equalizer in my headunit should I purchase a 9 band equalizer and install with my headunit like your feedback on this

Short answer: No. Longer answer: It depends. Have you learned what to do with your current equalizer and why do you feel you need another equalizer? The 9 band EQ likely covers the same functionality of what you have now.

 
U are right I still working on adj mine do u have some good set point I can use on mine.

This will depend on many factors, but I recommend dropping bands that sound too loud instead of raising anything more than 1 or 2 ticks. Don't adjust per song.

Look up pink noise and an RTA app so you can visually find the frequency response of your setup.
