basically the rules of thumb is

only lower freq's...

also never add more then 3b's to a freq... and even that should be avoided... right?

yea i could of defently worded that better but now i gotta leave it how it is - just out of spite =)

Avoid making large changes to the EQ curve. Having to make big changes means that there's something wrong with the install. Bad placement, bad environment, bad aim, or something along those lines. Using an equalizer should be fine tuning only, not shaping your sound.
