Booster as in line driver? Audiocontrol, baby! http://www.caraudio.com/forums/head-unit-classifieds/533607-audiocontrol-eqx-ii-eql-ii-audio-control.html. The EQL is pretty stout in that department.

I have a nice Pioneer 7 band EQ with built in power Booster...Ill do $60 shipped on it...Its a model BP650 ...it has Hi/Lo inputs adjustable gain ...These were used in earlier Saleen Mustangs....PM me if intrested

Back in the olden days, eq's with built in "amps" were very popular. Sparkomatic, Craig, Pyramid, Legacy, Coustic, Pioneer to name a few all made "eq/boosters".
