EQ? Something new for me?

Hey guys.

I just bought a couple Dyn set and want to make sure they sound good and since my mesley HU only puts out around .5-1v pre-outs I was looking into some EQs. The only thing is I've never done this before.

Do you know of some good ones that I could possible put in right underneath my flip out in the dash?

Budget is around 200-300, no more.

I was currently looking at the Kicker KQ9 to put in right underneath the HU. If you ahve something as well PM and I'll look into buying it.

i have been using the Kicker KQ 9 for a while now. It used to be the Kicker IQ 900 for years and it is an excellent equalizer. It brings great clarity and separation to a system. It has a built in crossover and is an 8 band equalizer. You can find one on EBAY brand new for $119. The only other top notch equalizer comparable to a Kicker KQ 9 is the Audiocontrol 3.1.
