epicenter to zapco balance line system

Just installed a Kenwood DNX-8120 deck, the double din 5v.

I have Zapco 4.0 C2K, and the Zapco 9.0 C2K amps which I used their symbilink for the balanced line system. The 4.0 to BA Z6's for the fronts and the 9.0 to 2 JL 12w7s.

I really want to install my Audio Control Epicenter on my subs but I wonder if that will really mess with anything? Has anyone else installed an epicenter on a balanced line system? Does it have to be Zapco compatible?

I'd have the RCA sub-out on the deck running to the Epicenter, then to the SLB-U transmitter for the volume control knob and balance line then out to the 9.0. Any settings I'd need on the Epicenter?

Anyone advise against it? I should probably just try it but I thought I'd ask first.

I just took out my SXSL-II because I thought the Kenwood can do it all.

this is what my installer said

"Epicenter has to go on a full range channel so if you're going to use it make sure you don't use the sub low pass crossover in the deck and use the one in the amp. I don't know if it's really necessary given all the power and sub you have... It can be a sub killer. So just be careful!"

I want my Epicenter! lol

You can hook it up the way you want to but this is still true...

you will just need more symbi cables and adapters. either way, unless you have some serious issues, that SX-SLII is an awesome unit. i run the SP7 on a 6.0 and 9.0 setup and its fantastic. the install is spot on, so i dont need tons of processing. both amplifiers are fed by the SP7 so i have some overlapping controls for the bass and highs, but the crossovers are set perfectly, so it doesnt overlap much, just gets them to blend right.

I'd have to prefab somethign to get that extra half din for the SXSLII in there and i'd rather not do that if I can. The kenwood does all the x-overs and EQ that the SXSL has.

installing the epicenter would basically just be adding 1 more cable.

decisions! lol

please give me any input about the epicenter i just installed 1 yesterday and it makes a big sound diff. what are balance selecters for and why??? please help what should i set my knobs too and why???
