howz it goin?

I was wondering....how do u find out, what kind of engine wil fit in your car?> and if it will work in your car?

this guy at my school.....he threw in a 99 prelude engine in his CRX Si

My buddy has a 98 integra.....he has the cash for a new engine...he dosent know what to throw in there though.....

he was thinking a s2000 engine......

a) do u think this would work? (fit, and all mechanics)

b) do u think he could beat the crx?

i would say call a local shop that does engine swaps and ask them what engines would work. I believe the s2000 engine is quite a bit quicker then the prelude, so yeah i think he could beat it. I may be wrong though...im not a pro on imports

the s2000 will not fit. there engines are size mounted thats why there wide in the front. 99 prelude engine in his CRX Si thats funny that engine hella heavy and Stock civic Si and GSR can rip on a prelude due to there weight in the front and low torque. I have friend that races a CRX with a LS VTEC engine that importbuilder.com help him build. He runs low 12 with all engine power. If you need help with import engine i can help been in it for 7 years i own Black Si and Blue Si, Blue Si i just sold.

I would buy the new Type-S engine the run 14.6 stock and with headers, intake and exhust the run 13.9 and gain 20+Hp, Just cams, port and polish and intake manifold, headers, intake and exhaust and will kill the CRX. It will due high 12's with a RSX Type-s engine in a CRX with the modas i listed.

i don't know if the 351W was ever made stock in a car, but i know a lot of mustang owners drop one in. it's a 351 cubic inch v8 engine, they were made in chicago i believe, and in windsor, hence the W. it's a 5.7L, lots of torque and horsepower. but like i said, it's a big engine, and actually, come to think of it, i don't think i would fit in any ricer.
