I don't understand why so many people want to post or see threads with ****** and ****** content. There are so many other site to go to for that if that's what you are looking for.

I don't think it is the mods fault if there isn't humorous content on here, I see very few clever people on here, most just degrade other members as a way of trying to be funny.

I feel sorry for the mods on here, between the established members trying to push the limits, and what seems like a constant influx of trolls, it is a 24/7 job.

I have to disagree on the humorous part however. Its the mods that set the tone for a place, by their actions and tolerance. Were things out of hand? Yeah...did mods get butthurt and over react? Yeah, and they still do. Dan complained about the modship. If as a mod you think its a troll either nuke the thread or stfu and let it ride. Coming in and getting butthurt just shows you are easily manipulated into an argument.

LOL yeah. I still don't get this thread the site is fine the Mods cant please all of the people all of the time and, I'm sure they have life's of there own. Sorry some of you guys miss the 'old days' of random bannings and multiple people using one mod's account/powers. But again, those days are gone. This site is, first and foremost, a car audio site. The t-dome is only even here to allow the members a place to vent, cut loose some, and generally give them a place where the rules are less strict than the rest of the site. That is Goob's plan, as owner of this site, and if you dont like that plan, you are welcome to try another car audio or social-based site. Im not being sarcastic, Im simply laying out the facts.

ca.com does not want to lose any members, but we/it want even less to allow it to degenerate into the highschool dodgeball name-calling animal house that it had once become. If some of you want that sort of site, I completely understand that. ca.com just is no longer that sort of site. The main goals of this site are to encourage serious and respectful car audio discussions. And frankly, that sort of site is much more likely to draw in some of the professionals in the industry (like the Kicker and JL reps) that decided to leave when those 'old days' spiraled the site out of control.

Flip side, there were factory reps back in "the good old days" that were worse than a lot of members lol

50% of this site could leave and all it would do is hurt the dome. They offer 0 real info....often times sending out the wrong info.

Personally I think the maturity level of this site is among the lowest of any site I frequent. The mods here are pretty slack....really slack actually. There are a couple who should maybe resign until they get their poop in a group....but thats goobs call.

Also, on the vendor deal.....there should be no covering up of anything. There is a buyer/seller feedback thread for users....how come not one for vendors? Something the vendors cannot alter. Same rules apply.....if you are not part of a deal gone bad....you keep out of the thread.
