They are definitely loud and mine are surprisingly clear once you adjust the crossovers and aren't looking for midbass out of them really.

everyone knows eminence arent exactly sq speakers.... so why flame people when they run them? its a personal choice they make.

ill be running the 6.5" line arrays in my upcoming setup. they are way less harsh and sound much better imo than the alphas.

thats cool that you like your eminence. you should come out to sonic/gandy and meet me and a few people i know. this guy johns astro is real loud... 16 12" SSDs. this other kid matt (focalrock4life) comes out when hes not working. hes got a 18" BTL on a herc in an S10 haha. that thing hammers too.
