I personally would wrap the whole thing, even if it was to not be seen. You basically are there so why skimp out. To me it's not worth saving/ holding out on.

becouse MDF is in layers, and it wont hold all the layers together so preasure from the subs hitting can split off the MDF, Glue only is a very week joint ported or not, its mainly used to help seal.

Glue is actually a very strong bond once its set and if it was done right. I use screws cause I'm to cheap to buy clamps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

and to note on the bond glue holds once its set...

mdf soaks up the glue! a decent amount of it! i use the good old elmers glue and that bish holds STRONG!

Clamps can do any angles... it just takes a lot more skill (no offense, I don't have the skill to do it either) to get them to stay properly. Check out Wasted_Ink, or P~S if you want crazy angles.

And I hope you're using Elmer's wood glue, not Elmer's white glue...

there ok. great highs but the mids meh. not very good. they need atleast 100 rms each to sound nice so dont expect to run them off of a head unit.

im also thinkin bout gettin brackets for 6.5" comps for the front and keep 6 x 8 coax in the rear. Lookin at MB Quart for both.
