Yes, but I'm not sure of the durability of the alt listed. Should look into DC power, ohio gen, and Mechman for a reliable/durable alt.

Well the alt I have now is Delco but its only 105 amps. Been on my car for 6 years.. no problems with it ever

Well that's obvious b/c you never had high current being pulled from the alt plus its only doing around 105a and less at idle. So there's no heat factor involved. Heat is a big factor when you have a H/O alt with more power being drawn from it.

ive had a zx1000.1 on it. and not like its too much more but a BAMF5500 at 1 ohm (claims 3200 rms)

How far were your volts dropping with the BAMF5500? If a lot then you were def doing damage to the alt.

dont have a worthless cap. and i also dont have a volt meter.. ill be getting one with the upgrades tho for sure.

yeah it was doing some damage though haha the channels went bad on the amp so i had to send it in.. not a bad amp tbh but my eletrical is just crap so, i guess ill try the same amp again before i get the new one
