Elemental Designs

I have installed the 15" on a Nine.1 at 1 ohm, it was in a sealed box in a ranger extra cab and it is capable of getting loud for sure. SQ was good and it was plenty loud enough for most bass heads.

Eh i owned a 130v.3 and a 12" FI Q, and the FI Q won hands down, then again your comparing 2 different types of subs.

If you want SQL, get the FI Q, if you want SQ get the ED, you cant go wrong with both, but the FI Q can take more power, and get really really loud, sounding awesome as well.

I have had personal experience with them. I had 2 on 1 eD 9.1's ported and did a 144.3 out of my Escalade. I wouldn't buy them again though. That is the one product that made me turn away from eD because when they first came out with the 190ov.2, there were many problems with the motors shifting due to the shitty frame. When customers recieved them, they would play but the VC was misaligned (they blamed UPS even though the subs were mounted in place before shipping). I was so pissed, I had to keep shipping them back until the last pair got stolen out of my SUV, before I ws going to ship it back for the 4th or 5th time.

On a side note, they said it would be fine on 1200 rms but after I bought them, I was forced to pay recone fees since I used them for "SPL purposes". Let's do the math:

2 9.1's= 2400 rms

2 19ov's can take 2400 rms

1 stock GM electrical=doubt it will support 2400 rms

hmmmm...

I spent around $4k with eD and after given the crappy customer service, I said fvck it. Just the customer service alone would make me not want to buy from them again.

Hmm...... You should be proud of yourself for crushing the hopes and dreams of a young boy.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif. Are you ashamed of yourself? You should be

I've personally inspected one of the original shipping crates that were used for the first batches of 19Ov2s. I have no idea what they were thinking of making a crate out of MDF, of course it's going to have breakage issues. I still have the crate sitting in my garage, I should go take pics.

If you were lucky enough to get one not damaged during shipping, they are very nice sounding. The one I listened to was in a 4 way setup, crossed at 50 hz, in a sealed 3.25^ft box in a RSX. Super loud and super low off of 1200 watts (Nine.1)

When we were giving the sub its first road test, we played bachbusters track 15. When the super low bass note hit, the 2 cars in front of us slammed on their brakes and pulled over, as if they thought their car was breaking down lol. After we passed them, they realized it was only us with a dinky single 18" sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I personally think Ben is a tool, and his business practices are hinky at best, but the company does put out some good equipment despite the creep who owns it.

ED isn't to liked around here and for good reason's. If you want a good 18" look at the Fi Q which is a little more. If you are stuck on the price then check out the SSD 18 which I'd think would be just as loud if not louder then the 19OV and is a little cheaper and will also take more power.
